I picked up a Wakpominee F3, along with several other needs at the TOR at Camp Woodlands this past June; thanks Bruce.
Thought I would post the image here
The Blue Books state for this one are:
F3 WHT R BLK GRN – LB
I would add RED WWW and TLS to the description.
While my version is TLS Twill left smooth, do other twill versions exist?
Would be interested in any other twill versions.

“But the fact being once established, that the press is impotent when it abandons itself to falsehood, I leave to others to restore it to its strength, by recalling it within the pale of truth.” —Thomas Jefferson (1805)
Bill,
I’m leaving for Conclave but will check the ones I have when I get back. From memory we only did 1 loom run of this flap.
Joe
Joe, appreciate it. The original BB description leaves a lot to be desired. And anytime I pick up an old twill flap I check it versus my collection. In this case I was filling a need.
Bill
Bill, I should note that in its day the first 3 Wakpominee flaps F1 through F3 were known as ghost flaps because the Lodge Totem, the sitting gray squirrel,, was only in outline. This was long before Lodges began producing the modern ‘ghost’ flaps and patches.
Bill, Finally got a chance to check some of the F3 I have. All 3 I looked at are TLS. For my old eyes it is very faint but with a small magnifying glass the lean is definitely there. Without the glass I would have said just smooth. I also checked theF1 and F2 which are also TLS. If you come up to the Twin Rivers Trade-O-Ree at the Council Camporee, Washington County Fairground at the end of September, I’ll have all three there so you can check.
