One of the first patches issued for the Northeast Region for an OA event was the 1987 OA Seminar. The standard version of the patch is shown below with the White 1987 in the design.
Over the years, I have seen a handful of images of an undated patch of the same design. I was recently able to acquire one. It does not appear to be a thread or needle break, there is no indication the date is missing.
Can anyone explain the reason for the difference in the images? Reorder? Different event?
