One of the toughest issues from Shu Shu Gah Lodge #24 is the 1992 NOAC Delegate Flap, the Black Arrow version.
Clicking on the image will bring you to the auction results for the next few months.
This was the second time Shu Shu Gah Lodge issued a delegate flap and we had a somewhat larger contingent than normal for us but only 75 flaps were made. Instead of getting 3 of the delegate (as had become or normal practice) each person on staff or with the contingent only received 2 flaps. Further the lodge advisors car was broken into and all of his luggage stolen which included 6-8 of the black arrow flaps which were to be given to several staff members from the lodge. This further reduced the number of available flaps.
Four unique bidders chased this flap, three of them hanging in past $ 50.00. When the hammer came down at the end of the auction, the winning bid was $ 67.00

“There is a rank due to the United States, among nations, which will be withheld, if not absolutely lost, by the reputation of weakness. If we desire to avoid insult, we must be able to repel it; if we desire to secure peace, one of the most powerful instruments of our rising prosperity, it must be known that we are at all times ready for war.” —George Washington (1793)
