While at the Empire State TOR last weekend, I was able to acquire a copy of “The History of Ashokwahta Lodge 339.” It was published in May 2013 by Ron Schmidt.
This 48 page book contains images of all of the issues of Ashokwahta Lodge #339 as well as all of its predecessor lodges Ta-Na-Wis-Qua Lodge #339, Amo’Chk Lodge #339 and Tuighaunock Lodge #409.
This book was written and published before the OA Centennial. Apparently there will be a separate full history published for the 2015 NOAC.
If any other New York State lodges have or will be issuing history books for the Centennial or for any other reason, I’d be interested in obtaining one.

“Honor, justice, and humanity, forbid us tamely to surrender that freedom which we received from our gallant ancestors, and which our innocent posterity have a right to receive from us. We cannot endure the infamy and guilt of resigning succeeding generations to that wretchedness which inevitably awaits them if we basely entail hereditary bondage on them.†Thomas Jefferson (1775)
