The Coastal Georgia Council, BSA, was chartered by the Boy Scouts of America on March 1, 2014.
The Coastal Empire Council, Boy Scouts of America and the Okefenokee Area Council, Boy Scouts of America announced Tuesday that they are merging to form a new Coastal Georgia Council.
The Coastal Georgia Council now serves 22 counties and boasts two fully operational camps, Black Creek Scout Reservation in Screven County and Camp Tolochee in Glynn County. The merger was unanimously approved Feb. 25 by the executive boards of the two councils.
Now there is news of the new OA Lodge from Facebook.
News for Coastal Georgia Council’s new OA Lodge! The name is I-Tsu-La which mean Togetherness. The number is 99 and the totem is the Loggerhead Turtle.

The interesting part there is Tonkawa Lodge #99 still exists today.
