At the Western New York Trade-O-Ree last month, Bob Burt showed me a previously unlisted Jacket Patch from Gajuka Lodge #477. He acquired the patch which was still sewn to a windbreaker from the original owner along with a number of other Lodge #477 iisues.
This is a BIG patch about 11.75 inches at its widest.
The stats for this one should be:
J4 BLU R WHT RED – Misspelled Lodge Name “Gajuk” RED NOAC Contingent
Bob was told that it was from either the 1992 or 1994 NOAC. Can anyone confirm when it was used?

“Yet, although history never quite repeats itself, and just because no development is inevitable, we can in a measure learn from the past to avoid a repetition of the same process. One need not be a prophet to be aware of impending dangers. An accidental combination of experience and interest will often reveal events to one man under aspects which few yet see.” – Friedrich A. Hayek, The Road to Serfdom
Nice score Bob!

I can’t verify the dates, but it seems like it should be older than 1992. I would imagine the 1992 would have the 75th OA anniversary stuff on it, and it just does not look like something from 1994.
75th Anniversary was in 1990. The design is the 1970’s era OA Jacket Patch. I’ve also been told it may be a private issue. Would like to be contacted from former lodge members who would have been active at that time.
