Otahnagon Lodge #172 1992 NOAC X1?

I recently came across this patch from Otahnagon Lodge #172. It has long been listed in the CSP Guides, but never in the Blue Book. The Blue Book does not list any NOAC or Jambo issues for Otahnagon prior to the 1997 Jamboree.

Does anyone know the history of this patch?

  1. Unless you know for sure the lodge issued this CSP, I would not list it. It looks like a council issue to me. Use of the “flaming tomato” alone does not convince me this is a lodge issue.

  2. John,

No definite listing yet, certainly it could be a private issue too.

I addition to the MGM Indian it also says 1992 NOAC.

Considering it has been in the CSP book for years, if it was approved by the Scout Executive (or his deputy) it was approved by the Supreme chief of the Fire.

    Still looking for more information.
