Another RWS auction recently ended on eBay of interest to NYS collectors. This one included a used General Herkimer Council Half Strip and two community strips from the area. The General Herkimer strip was clearly used and still had several threads visible from where it had been cut off a uniform or jacket.

This one had three bidders who drove the price to $ 46.50.
What was the most important part of this auction the Council strip or one or both of the community strips? One of the Council strips ended last May at a bit over $ 14.00.
