The first Area 2-A Conclave was held in 1949 at Camp Manhattan part of the Ten Mile River Scout Reservation. There was a patch issued for the event which had the same basic design as the Camp Manhattan Staff Patch for the same year which depicted the archway entering camp.
The patch is also found sewn to a plain dark blue neckerchief.
Update May 2021:
Frank Rickenbaugh sent along an image of the neckerchief. In my original post I wrote that the patch was also found on a blue neckerchief.
He was told that this was a staff neckerchief, Can anyone confirm if this is the case?
