Area 2-G 1971 Conclave Neckerchief Slides

I had previously written about the Area 2-G 1971 Conclave held at Camp Russell. Mark Eddy advises that there were several more leather variations for the neckerchief slides.

The 1971 leather examples in the photos are not all that exist. There is a red ink on the gray leather example and an example of the mistake stamp of 1791 instead of 1971. I had all of them at one time so I have seen them and they do exist.

I’ll add this to the original post.

“I began to sense faintly that secrecy is the keystone of all tyranny. Not force, but secrecy … censorship. When any government, or any church for that matter, undertakes to say to its subjects, this you may not read, this you must not see, this you are forbidden to know, the end result is tyranny and oppression, no matter how holy the motives.” – Robert A. Heinlein
