The Boy Scout First Class Emblem has been used for more than just denoting the First Class Rank. It has also been used in many of the badges of office for both youth and adults.
Early examples of the first class badge can be found in many colors and were used for badges of office.
One example recently appeared on eBay, and early Troop Committee Armband. The Troop Committee even more so in the early days of Scouting was not a uniformed position so these armbands were created to be worn over civilian clothes by the committee member.
This item started at $0.99 but did carry a reserve. There were 11 separate bidders for this auction. As always clicking on the image will bring you to the auction results for the next few months.
