George Jennings reports about the fourth of four flaps from Nacha Nimat Lodge #86 issued at their 2009 Winter Banquet
Lodge 86 Nacha Nimat has finally had their winter banquet, 4 different solid flaps were issued – all writing on each patch in the color of the border of that patch. Same basic design.
This last is a bit different, although it was issued at the banquet it does not state that it is a banquet issue. following the rule of the duck, we will call this one the S36.
A blue border with a number from 1 to 25 under the belly of the bear. The name in blue is hidden in the blue background. This issue of 25 only patches were auctioned at the dinner. Only 18 were available for the auction - 9 for boys to bid on. 9 for adults to bid on.One set given to Tom Bain – our dinner guest speaker (and Northeast Region OA Chairman). 3 were set aside for the lodge historical committee, 1 set given to the designer of the patch . 2 other sets set aside for later presentations.

I was actually the designer of these four flaps. This one was just meant to be a little more special than the other 3. It was indeed only meant for the banquet as a special patch. I happen to have number one. I believe that there was only 1 of these for historical. One is sitting in the council office, and another was given to the arrowman who assisted me in the final finish up of the patch and getting it to the company. Im not sure where the other ones were acounted for but i do know the lodge only has 1
