I had previously written about the 1987 Section NE-2D Conclave, Tom Wadnola had provided the scans, including the neckerchief pictured below.

While cataloging my collection in a usually vain attempt to avoid acquiring duplicates, I realized I had a neckerchief from the 1987 NE-2D Conclave, but it was different. Instead of Red Piping, there was White Piping on the neckerchief.

Does anyone know the significance of the different colors? I need the neckerchief with the Red Piping for my collection.
I am also updating the original post with this information.
