While the Northeast Region OA Website has not been updated, I have been told that Tom Bain the current Section NE-2C Advisor and former Man-A-Hattin Lodge #82 Advisor has been appointed the Northeast Region OA Chairman replacing Randy Kline.
Congratulations to Tom and best of luck in his new position.

This is because Tom did not take over as Region Chairman until November 2008. Please stay updated with what is going on in the Northeast Region at http://northeast.oa-bsa.org.
I guess that means incomplete or incorrect information was released at our May Lodge meeting about the change.
I also note that the NER website was not updated until December 27 or 28 with this information. Nor were any updates posted between October 9 and December 27.
