Gavin Murdoch sends along another 2 neckerchief slides from Thay-En-Da-Ne-Gea Lodge #418 when they were the host for the 1963 Area 2-D Conclave.
The red slide was for all participants while the black was given to the host lodge members. Therefore the host members got 2 slides and the visitors got one,
however most of those in attendance went home with 2 or more! They are plastic and were made by Artcraft Mgt.Co. of Grand Rapids Michigan. No idea why they owl and Thunderbird are part of the design.
Hello Every One:
In regards to the two N/C slides pictured hear. I’m interested in adding them to my collection if anyone has some extras. I collect in 3’s. One for my son and Daughter and one for display if I can afford three. I’m retired on disability. I also collect any other Scouting items that have “OWL’s” on or part of the patch or what ever the item is. Please advise me of any items you may have 1 to 3 for a resonable price or for trade. I also have many upstate New York patches and items for sale and or trade at resonable market rates. Thank you for your consideration.

I have to disagree with the info provided for the Lodge 418 Area 2-D conclave neckerchief slides. The red one that just has Area 2-D printed on it was issued for the 1956 Area 2-D conclave held at Woodworth Lake Scout Reservation. The black one with OA Conclave Woodworth Lake was issued for the 1963 Conclave.
