Whatsit? Wolfhead Patch

There was recently an auction on eBay, that pictured a wolf’s head in profile. The image is familiar but I can’t find it on OA Images.

The seller was disposing a collection on consignment from a collector who had 95+% of the issues from Thay-En-Da-Ne-Gea Lodge #418.

To the best of my knowledge, it is not from that Lodge. It might not even be a scout patch.

Wolfhead Patch

Does anybody recognize the patch?

  1. Having 99% of the 418 Lodge items and having been in the council since 1963 I do not believe it has anything to do with Lodge 418.

  2. Gavin,

I agree it is very unlikely that it is a #418 issue. It was probably added to the collection since the 418 totem was a wolf.

The one nagging thing for me is the design seems familiar. Probably this wolf head design (or a similar one) was used as part of a design I’ve seen on a patch or neckerchief.
