I recently started a second blog for my other collecting passion, Ten Mile River Scout Camps. It is the summer camp of the Greater New York Councils, and will be celebrating its 80th Anniversary this summer.
The main purpose of this the Ten Mile River Trader blog will be to share information about new Ten Mile River Scout Camp issues, the discovery of previously uncatalogued issues, warnings about fakes, spoof, and reproductions and information that may be of interest to other Ten Mile River or Scout Camp Patch Collectors.
In addition, I plan to use this site to gather information about the “orphan” GNYC Camps. Those no longer in existence, but whose memory lives on in those who camped there and in the memorabilia they issued. check it out if you are so inclined
