I recently acquired a patch that I have been told is from Section NE-3B. From reviewing the Section website, this could be true. It seems that at least for the 2003 NE-3B Section Conclave there was a program where participants could earn a “Allohakasin” patch by participating in training sessions.
This program gives participants the opportunity to earn degrees at conclave colleges for training sessions they attend. Participants would have to take three courses in one college to earn a degree-Associates, Bachelors, Masters, Doctorate, and Professor. Upon completing their degree, participants receive a diploma certificate and a patch with a specific border color.
This program helps conclave training by providing incentives for participants to return in following years by developing experts in specific areas of the OA program by focused learning, and by providing an incentive to the CVC of training to develop a good conclave program.
We will be offering classes in the following colleges: New Arrowmen, Ceremonies and Inductions, Extreme Scouting (High Adventure), Lodge and Chapter Management, and General Studies. Diplomas and patches are currently being designed and will only be available to conclave training participants.
Can anyone confirm which border colors were used and for what years? I believe the program was in effect for at least the 2003 and 2004 Section Conclaves. This is a sample of one of the patches.
Separately, I have acquired another Allohakasin patch, can anyone confirm if this is from Section NE-3B, and if so the purpose. Or if not, who or where was it used.
