eBay has just announced a sale price for their auction insertion fees for those of us who may sell Scout Collectibles.
Clicking on the image will bring you to the eBay announcement.

Collectibles are the master category for our patches, neckerchiefs and other ephemera.
Here is the breakdown of the savings:

Since the promotion is only about 6 hours old right now, I see there are not quite 9300 auctions running now. How high do you think the number will get? Will this make you list a few more items?

These sales were always a mixed blessing. While it was nice to list for cheaper prices, the competition increased a lot. It seems like everyone, including myself, would use it as a time to list their low priced items that they just wanted to move.
I haven’t been able to follow eBay as much as I used to, over here (darn, Gov’t filters) so I won’t take a guess at how it will affect the number of auctions, other than to say it will go up…
Dan,
Your right, after all a Scout is Thrifty. Previous free listings days have dramatically increased the number of listings even if it was only for 1 days’ worth of free listings. This is for 2 weeks, so time will tell.
